[svn r15] Removing old .cvsignore files.

[svn r14] Setting up 'ignore' lists so svn will understand them.

Initial, dumb support for the multi-buffer enabled Lexer and Builder

Lots of cleanups related to writing CppUnit tests.

Changed comments to clearly state that behavior is undefined in certain
cases.

Changed all of the Lengthen, Shorten and Move methods to check bounds to
avoid putting the LinearExtent into an undefined state if it wasn't
there before.

Removed LengthenCenter and ShortenCenter because they had a number of
difficult to define cases, and few uses I could think of.

Added operator == to test for extents with the exact same offset and
length. I don't think extent comparisons have a lot of value in
general, but they are extremely useful for testing.

Changed definition of full_extent to use new LENGTH_MAX constant.

A complete suite of tests thoroughly exercising the
::strmod::strmod::LinearExtent class.

Changed name of Dependencies.cxx to DependTest.cxx
