Dear TenFourBird:

Is there any possibility of getting a 10.4 (Tiger) version of GnuPG 2.0 to satisfy future versions of Enigmail? Have done some searching and nobody seems to have a compiled version for systems before Leopard.

Enigmail v1.9 will drop support for gnupg v1. https://www.enigmail.net/download/changelog.php#enig1.8

We need to do something in order to use Enigmail v1.9 on PPC Mac.

There are two plans:

Plan 1. Modify gnupg v2 (pinentry-mac-tiger?)

Building gnupg2 will fail on PPC Mac. Because of pinentry build failure. We need to modify pinentry to support the old-fashioned Quartz.

Plan 2: Modify Enigmail for support of gnupg v1

Merge gnupg1 support code of Engimail v1.8 to Enigmail v1.9.

I have plans. But I still not do anything... :-<
