「ユーザ認証」ページへの不正アクセスを防ぐことができます。
adminセクションのincludes/configure.phpの設定2箇所を変更してください。

/adminのままですが、/adminの.htaccessに

order deny,allow
deny from all

# 自分のIPからのみアクセス許可
allow from ***.***.***.***

↑こんな感じなことを書いてます。
（-Indexesはhttpd.confでサーバ全体に適用）

ついでに

php_value memory_limit 128M

↑こんな事も書いてたり。
