maybe TOMOYO need a meaningful name (2007-10-02 11:13 by Anonymous #32618)

the best way I remember TOMOYO is to pronouce it as "tomorrow", the TOMOYO projiect home page states:

TOMOYO Summary

TOMOYO Linux is an extension for Linux to provide Mandatory Access Control(MAC) functions. TOMOYO Linux is provided in the form of patches to the Linux vanilla kernels and utilities for policy management. For more information, please visit the home page.

so the name TOMOYO seems to not meaningful enough.

what about use DMACK as name, meaning Domain Mandatory Access Control Kernel (like SMACK, which seems will be accepted with apparmor by Linux kernel. http://kerneltrap.org/Linux/Pluggable_Security).
