The PDEPP Web server features a very clean, modular design with a relatively high degree of abstraction and data encapsulation, and very comprehensive documentation for both installation/usage and internal structure/programming conventions.

Casimir is an URL shortener that is simple to install and use. It lets the user set the desired short URL.

wmnet polls network statistics and does a few things with the data it gets. It has small blinking lights for the rx and tx of ip packets, a digital speedometer of your tcp/ip stack's current speed and neatest of all, a bar graph like xload et. al which has a tx speed graph from bottom-up and rx speed graph from the top-down. The speedometer keeps track of the current speed per second and shows it in a color corresponding to which of rx or tx that has the highest speed at the moment.

MacLibre is an open source software distribution
for Mac OS X. It's simple, intuitive, and has
applications you need.

Dxr2 Resource Center is a community focus point
for the Creative Dxr2 DVD decoder card. Creative
Dxr2 drivers for Linux, and other platforms are
actively being developed, as well as a multitude of
other programs, drivers, documentation, etc. The
Website is the home of the Creative Dxr2 drivers
(dxr2-driver). Included is a script for compiling the
Dxr2 drivers, as well as various components
(dxr2install), a Dxr2 plugin for the XINE media
player (xine-plugin), and other projects related to
the Dxr2 decoder card.

SSVN is a wrapper script for svn to store file
permissions in a Subversion repository (along with
the versioned file). Permissions and ownership can
be restored later. A Unix-like file permissions
schema is stored, and GID and UID are stored
numerically. This means that this script is not
portable to non-Unix systems.

Knoppix_remoteconf is a set of patches for the
Knoppix live CD/DVD distribution that allow
Knoppix configurations to be saved and retrieved
via the network (instead of from local storage
media) These patches are for
/etc/init.d/knoppix-autoconfig and
/usr/sbin/saveconfig.

runonce is an attempt to take some of the pain out of postinstalls by moving them to the first boot of the system. This reduces the amount of items you have to worry about. If the postinstall script runs on a regular system, it should run on your postinstall.

ASpiReNN is a little C library (with Python
bindings) which provides support for simple (leaky
integrate-and-fire) spiking neural networks. It is
primarily designed for highly recurrent networks,
but it can also be used with multi-layer nets,
though performance won't be the same. Though only
Leaky integrate-and-fire (for the neurons) and
Spike-Timing Dependent Plasticity (for learning
rules) are currently implemented, adding new
models shouldn't be too difficult.

BMCrawler is a stand alone JAVA applet that
examines the logs from the Novell
BorderManager Proxy or any other proxy that
supports Common Log Format and compares
the Web sites visited with a list of "bad" sites.
A default list of questionable sites (about 1MB
in size) is included, however users have the
ability to add or delete sites using the
program.

irssi-xmpp is an irssi plugin to connect to the
Jabber network. It aims to provide good
integration in this text-based IRC client. It can
send and receive messages in irssi's query
windows. A roster is shown for tracking contacts'
resources. Contacts can be managed. Command
completion, multiple accounts (in different
connections), Unicode, and SSL are supported.

ViewMTN is a Web interface to the Monotone distributed version control system. Features include listing all branches and tags, a graphical, clickable revision ancestry chart, diffs, and retrieval of the manifest of any revision as a tar file.

Crops is a program for previewing and printing
non-latin1 encoded PostScript files.

Firedrop2 is a client-side blog tool that makes it
possible to create and maintain your blogs on your
PC. It supports RSS feeds, categories, and
archives and accepts HTML, Sextile, Textile, and
ReST markup. It has a powerful macro and
templating system and can automatically FTP your
blog to a server. A powerful plugin system is
provided along with spell checker and emailer plugins.
