Video providers is a class that returns HTML code for embedding and previewing videos hosted on external video sites. It takes the URL of a video site and parses it to extract the video identifier. It currently supports videos from YouTube, Vimeo, and RuTube.

GOFoto is an appliaction for managing large
collections of photos. It supports photo refining,
generation of Web galleries, and video CDs.

mgadvd is a Matrox G200/Zoran 36700 hardware MPEG decoder driver for Linux. It allows you to play MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and DVD streams through the Zoran 36700 Vaddis III decoder (connected to the G200) with very low CPU usage. Supported DVD audio formats are AC3 (Dolby Digital) and PCM. Included is a player app called mzplay that plays DVD directly from the disc as well as MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video and audio (Layer II only) files.

MPEGlue is an AppleScript front-end for the mpgtx command-
line MPEG utility.

XMMS Plugin for Ogle DVD Player is an XMMS
plugin, which allows it to play DVDs, using Ogle DVD
Player as a backend.

iPodRaze is a program that lets users copy songs
from their iPods back to their own computers. The
core of iPodRaze is a free iTunes-iPod database
parser which was written to be portable, easy to
use, and object-oriented.

GBAconv is a set of tools aimed at GameBoy Advance
developers, allowing them to convert WAV sounds
and PCX images into C arrays to be included in GBA
programs. It is composed of two programs: pcx2gba
(exports a PCX 8-bpp image to 16-bit values C
arrays: palette and image data (2 pixels per
value)) and wav2gba (exports a WAV 8-bit mono
sound to an 8-bit signed values array).

Chanl creates a user friendly menu of digital television channels from a channels.conf file that was created with dvb tools. It can launch multiple user configured commands like mplayer and dvbstream to view or record the channel. It supports DVB-T, DVB-S, DVB-C, and ATSC.

wv2ogg is a tool that uses wvunpack, oggenc, and
vorbiscomment to encode wavpack files to Ogg
Vorbis files. The quality setting that will be
used for encoding the Vorbis files can be set when
running wv2ogg. It will also transfer all tags and
replaygain information from the wavpack files to
the Ogg Vorbis files by default. wv2ogg was
written because no other software that would do
this existed for Linux.

The Sony PCG-C1XS Picturebook Camera Capture program captures images and movies on a Sony VAIO picturebook PCG-C1XS, taking advantage of the built in CCD camera and hardware JPEG encoder. It features PPM capture, JPEG capture (hardware JPEG), AVI capture of MJPEG, MJPEG capture of separate frames (for MPEG encoding), setting of brightness/contrast/etc., and a 1:4 sub-sampling option.

linxvideos is software for managing your personal film collection
(video files, DivX, DVDs, etc.). It can track who has borrowed your
films and can generate HTML forms to send your list to friends.

Zak allows you to select one or more MP3 files and
convert them into a single MP3, MP4, M4A, or M4B
file. The primary use for Zak is audio books. Most
audio books are distributed in several files,
usually one per chapter. Converting these files
into a single .m4b allows one to take advantage of
the iPod's bookmarking features.

rdc2e is a command line tool that downloads images from a Ricoh RDC-2E digital camera.

xscript interprets a script file to automate the
capture of an X11 window. The output may be used
to create animated GIFs. This tool is based on
XVidCap by rasca. It has been made to produce
animations showing how to use shell utilities.

krazhkoder is a portable GUI Ogg, Speex, and FLAC
audio encoder and player that can encode wave files
and provides additional functionality such as audio file
tagging, an HTML album generator, CD ripping, etc.
