DreamEncoder is a TwinVQ batch encoder for Linux.

vfp (video for Pascal) is a Freepascal interface to video4linux. This package
contains the unit videodev.pas (similar to videodev.h) and an object-oriented
version which supplies the different functionalities via plugins. vfp also
supports special video cameras modified for long time integration. vfp is a
subpackage of the SImg software.

MvpdMake is a GUI wrapper around mplayer,
mencoder, sox, and mv_encoder to convert video
files to the MoviePod (.mvpd) video format to be
played by mv_player under iPodLinux on your iPod
Nano, iPod Mini, or iPod Photo.

watch_dvb is a simple script that allows DVB users to easily
watch a TV channel using the low-end application dvbstream.
It uses the channel lists provided with 'szap' and handles the
channel tuning. As a gimmick there is an interactive mode
that is used when the specified pattern matches more than
one channel. Additionally you can stream the DVB data to
another workstation on the network.

SystVision is a real-time vision system used to
track points in an image and showing it on screen.
It has an easy user interface to configure the
camera and change the image options while running.

Bashgallery is a small application to maintain a
simple yet efficient online image gallery.

This software allows you to download the photos
made with the Samsung SGH-v200 (and possibly other
units) via the serial link cable provided by
Samsung. More protocol information is provided in
the source file to improve the software to manage
call lists, phone books, and other features.

Xr3 is a tookit designed to let you control your IR enabled Audio/Video equipment from your desktop. It's based mostly on the RedRat2, a serial port Learning IR remote control. Control panels contain color icons, buttons, labels and are defined by simple text files.

getKC600 is a tool for getting pictures from a
Yashica (Kyocera) KC600 digital camera connected
to a serial port.

Mp4web is a PHP script created to manage mp4live (part of MPEG4IP). It lets you launch mp4live sessions, watch them in real time (you can watch recorded media files too), and create, edit, and modify mp4live configuration files.

gblnk lets you use a MadCatz cable to download bitmaps from the Gameboy camera onto your PC and view them/save them in bitmap format.

XML::RDB is a Perl extension to convert XML files into RDB schemas and populate/unpopulate them. It works with XML schemas too. It analyzes relationships within either an XML file or an XML schema to create RDB tables to hold that document (or any XML document that conforms to the XML schema). It takes an XML file or URL as input for the XML::DOM::Parser, and extracts information to build and write DDL. An attempt is made to recognize relations within the XML structure then translate it to the DDL. That generated DDL is then loaded, parsing the DOM tree a second time to extract and load the data. At the bottom of the DDL are select statements to help get a view of those relations found, and XML data. xml_rdb also dumps the data back to XML format.

Plasmatic is a cross platform multimedia delivery
and playback system. The client application plays
moving picture files and other media. The client
application can talk to a server to fetch
playlists and content.

EVILib is a C++ library for controlling the serial
interface of Sony color video cameras EVI-D30(31),
EVI-D70(P), and EVI-D100(P). A sample program is
provided with the library.
