Holodeck10 is a Java-based application that runs on Linux. The purpose of the application is to allow the user to lay out images to be printed. It supports the basic function that includes orientation selection (LANDSCAPE or PORTRAIT), paper selection (NA_Letter or ISO_A4), and layout (1x1, 1x2, 2x2, 2x3, 4x5, 6x8, and Custom). A file chooser is used with a file filter to select image types of *.jpeg, *.jpg, *.gif, *.xpm, and *.png. A printerjob is used to send the page to the printer.

Jitsi (formerly SIP Communicator) is an audio/video and chat communicator that supports protocols such as SIP, XMPP/Jabber, AIM/ICQ, Windows Live, Yahoo!, Bonjour, and many other useful features. It is currently the most feature rich Internet Communicator, and is the only one to provide encrypted audio/video calls, desktop streaming and sharing, and chat on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux with both the SIP and XMPP protocols.

Binary of Babel is the demo that got second place at Alternative Party 2010. It combines over 20 programming languages, including Objective-C, Vala, Scheme, and even COBOL, into one binary. It contains lots of classic demo effects such as a rotozoomer and raster bars.

ACalc is a scientific calculator for PalmOS 3.5 using double-precision arithmetic with 15-digit display. The objective is to produce a calculator that is simple and easy to use, but reasonably complete for scientific use. It has built-in functions and constants.

Prime8 is a global LDAP address book management
Web interface. It provides a very simple interface
for viewing and maintaining a company-wide address
book running off an LDAP directory.

jclassinfo is an information extractor for Java
classes. The information it deals with includes
but is not limited to VM requirements,
inheritance, dependencies, field and method
signatures, and class attributes. It is written
in C and requires zlib.

KPVM is a K-Desktop interface to PVM. Process, host and group views are supported. It features remote debugging, remote shell, and process and host statistics. Currently only CVS distribution via SourceForge.net.

MiGLayout is a versatile and flexible Swing and
SWT layout manager. It uses string constraints or
API type-checked constraints to format the layout.
Strings are both short to type and easy to
understand. MiGLayout can produce flowing,
grid-based, absolute (with links), grouped, and
docking layouts. It was created to be to manually
coded layouts what Matisse/GroupLayout is to
IDE-supported visual layouts.

glightoff is a simple (but not so easy to solve) puzzle
game based on LightOff, where the goal is to turn off
all the lights on a 5x5 board.

Final Config implements the preference dialogue (typically found under Edit->Preferences) as a separate application that can be used by another application (called the client application or client) through DBus.
The available preferences and how they are to be presented to the user is described in an XML file (the desc file), which can be stored in a place convenient to the client. The client does not need to bother with the desc file; it just needs to pass along the file location when invoking the FinalConfig service.

Tabatha is a GTK2 popup menu for tablet PCs, handhelds,
and other frequently changed desktops. It can be called
with a single keypress, and allows system configurations
(power, X display, networking, etc.) to be changed with a
single button push. New buttons are easily configured
through a simple XML file, with no programming necessary.

TagBox is a system for dynamic XML generation implemented in Java. It features
an extensible XML-compliant procedural scripting language.

PyGuile allows scripts written in Scheme and
executed by Guile to invoke Python libraries. This
makes the rich library ecosystem of Python
available also to Guile users.

CAN is a packaging program that uses a format
similar to JAR, but with some improvements. CAN uses only existing, open source tools for its implementation. It packages any executable and libraries, supports executable CANs, and can even tweak environment variables before execution.
