LiMpOo is a multimedia player platform based on a Linux system using a Perl engine. It features playback of MP3 files (with playlists), CD audio (with CDDB lookup), and support for encoding, LCD, and IR. It uses MySQL for speed improvements. A PHP front-end helps to maintain all playlists.

cm is a flexible mail checking utility that can
probe multiple mail queues. It currently supports
any number of mbox, Maildir, IMAP4, and POP3
mailboxes.

xLightweb is an easy-to-use HTTP network library
to build high performance, highly scalable network
applications in Java. xLightweb provides a simple
and intuitive API to write client side HTTP
applications as well as server side HTTP
applications. In contrast to the Servlet API,
xLightweb is not only focused on server side
programming. xLightweb also supports client side
programming by providing high-capacity client side
classes such as an HttpClient. It supports both
blocking/synchronous programming as well as
non-blocking/asynchronous programming.

Crucible provides a powerful, flexible backend for
building automated testing systems. It allows for
conducting tests on multiple machines (via NFS),
including patching, rebuilding, and booting new
kernels, libraries, and services. Configuration
and customization can be done through simple
config files and bash scripts. It is suitable for
performing tests of GUI applications, services,
libraries, and kernel patches.

Skype status is a JavaScript object that can show and update the online status of a Skype user on Web pages. It can generate HTML to display an image that reflects the online status of a given Skype user. The image appears inside a given page element. The class can update the image regularly to reflect changes of the Skype user's online status. The image may be associated with a link, so when the user clicks on it, the browser triggers a given Skype action like call, chat, add to contacts, show profile, or send voice mail or a file.

Appointment is a Perl-based mail script for
receiving Microsoft Outlook appointment and
meeting requests and inserting them in a Danger
Hiptop/T-Mobile Sidekick calendar. It can be
installed as a programmatic mail recipient or
invoked from procmail, and supports multiple users.
It also includes separate Perl modules for Outlook
meeting request parsing, T-Mobile Desktop
Interface login, and Danger Appointment
management.

str2img is a simple way to display a string of
text as an image. The URL is encoded, so spam bots
can't easily grab the text from it. A Smarty
plugin is also provided.

DeskToy is a 3D screensaver for OS X. A complex
set of linked pendulums is displayed in perpetual
motion. The behavior of the view and the behavior
of the model is highly configurable using the
screensaver property sheet. The screen saver is
shipped in Universal Binary format for OS X 10.4+.

Algebraic Modelling System (AMS) is an approach to algebraic model representation that enables the expression and storage of models and their related instance data in a portable XML format. It is also able to convert these models to target modelling languages by use of simple XSL translation stylesheets. By using a representation format that is independent of any particular modelling system, your models become portable to any modelling system. An XML-based format also lends itself more easily to distributed computing, Web services, and other enterprise-level computing solutions.

SecuXabber is a secure Jabber-client for Android that uses strong, asymmetric encryption on top of the XMPP protocol. A key pair is generated on application start-up. Users can send their public key to other SecuXabber users via Bluetooth. This face-to-face check ensures the veracity of the public key. After the keys have been imported by both users, all communication between them is encrypted using strong 4096 bit encryption. It supports all relevant XMPP features, works with multiple accounts, is highly customizable, and has many other useful features.

xfontselector is a program that enables easy
selection of the most suitable font in X window.
It allows you to choose several fonts and compare
how they look line-by-line.

Stardic X is an English-Chinese dictionary which exports a service.

libcraigscrape is an easy library to do the heavy lifting between you and Craigslist's posting database. Given a URL, libcraigscrape will follow links, scrape fields, and deduce Ruby objects out of the raw HTML from Craigslist's servers. libcraigscrape was primarily developed to support the included craigwatch script.

Dummynet is a flexible tool originally designed for testing networking protocols, and since then (mis) used for bandwidth management. It simulates/enforces queue and bandwidth limitations, delays, packet losses, and multipath effects. It also implements a variant of Weighted Fair Queueing called WF2Q+. It can be used on user's workstations, or on FreeBSD machines acting as routers or bridges.
