Linux Basic Security Modulesプロジェクトは、lInux用のセキュリティモジュール群を開発することを目的としたプロジェクトです。主にTrusted OSに要求されるセキュリティ機能を、LKM(Linux Kernel Module)の機能を用いて実装することを目的としております。

Linux Kernel "make xconfig" Enhancement Patch is a
patch to the Linux kernel that enhances the search
dialog of "make xconfig" by providing
case-sensitivity and a choice of keyword search,
regular expression search, and substring search.
It was done in a modular way by enhancing the
kernel C configuration API.

L4 NICTA::Pistachio-embedded is a version of the L4 microkernel, based
on L4Ka::Pistachio, designed for embedded systems.

FreeNOS is an experimental microkernel operating system for learning purposes. The system is very experimental, yet it currently supports virtual memory, simple task scheduling, and interprocess communication (IPC). It currently contains support for a few devices, including VGA, keyboard, i8250 serial, ATA drives, and PCI controllers. FreeNOS has an experimental implementation of several filesystems, such as the virtual file system, procfs, tmpfs, linnfs, and ext2fs. Current application libraries include libposix, libc, libteken (terminal emulation), and libexec (executable formats). All source code has been documented with Doxygen tags. It has been tested on recent versions of Qemu, VMWare, VirtualBox, Bochs, and bare hardware.

The Sidewinder Forcefeedback 2 driver is a project to make a full capabilities driver for the Microsoft Forcefeedback 2 joystick.

KernCob is a project that aims to create a
stable Linux 2.4 kernel for the Sun Cobalt
(formally Cobalt Networks) Generation III and
Generation V Intel-based server appliances.

Tunix is a set of tools used to generate small bootable Linux images.
It can be used to learn how to roll your own distribution, or to port
embedded systems. The basic release uses busybox and has a kernel with
netfilter-enabled modules. A uclibc iptables binary is included, so you
can roll your small firewall from a floppy.

Early Macintosh Image LoadEr (EMILE) makes it
possible to boot linux-m68k from a floppy on a
Macintosh such as a Mac II. It can be used to create
rescue disks or remove the MacOS partition (required
by the legacy penguin booter) from your hard drive.

Scout is a command line utility which allows the
users to search in packages using indexes of
various attributes. Each functionality has its own
module. It is accompanied by a small tool which
prints useful messages about packages when a
command is not found in the shell.

ngacl is an effort to give Linux and its filesystems a full blown ACL system, similar to that used by NFSv4 and Windows. With this software, you have 13 different access rights, dynamic inheritance, and audit ACLs. The implementation is filesystem-independent because the kernel parts are an LSM module. In addition, there is a Samba-VFS module that enables you to alter ACLs with the Windows ACL editor.

Argante is a fully operational, virtual environment for effective, secure, and accurate development of network appliances and other solutions (distributed routers, heterogenic, and self-adapting clusters).
