ROM extension extractor (ree) is a tool which extracts ROM extensions from the firmware of a PC computer. It can also extract font data from video card ROMs. It includes a shell utility and a C program which are functionally identical.

inputcntrl is a utility for controlling Linux 'input'
devices. It was created out of a need to set
the characteristics of a Sun keyboard attached
to a serial port and registered
as /dev/input/eventN with inputattach.

lomoco can configure vendor-specific options on
Logitech mice connected through USB. A number of
recent devices are supported. The program is
mostly useful in setting the resolution to 800 cpi
or higher on mice that boot at 400 cpi (such as
the MX500, MX510, and MX1000), and disabling
SmartScroll or Cruise Control for those who would
rather use the two extra buttons as ordinary mouse
buttons. lomoco is a fork of lmctl.

geskoctrl is an application to download/upload firmware for GESKO PBXes.
geskoctrl is also useful for controlling these PBXes.

EasyPMP is a program used to create and maintain
the music database on a variety of portable music
players. This allows tracks to be browsed by
artist, album, genre, etc., rather than by
directory structure. The following devices are
supported: iRiver H100 series; iRiver H300 series;
iRiver H10 UMS; iRiver H10 MTP (with emergency
connect mode); iRiver H10Jr. UMS; iRiver U10 UMS;
MEDION MDJuke220 and MDJuke 440; and Samsung
YH-820, YH-920, and YH-925. It is developed as
part of a project called PMPlib, which aims to
develop a library that can be used by desktop
media players and other programs, in order to
support these devices.

libft is an implementation of the fischertechnik
ROBO interface library for Unix-like systems. The
goal is to create a library that is fully
compatible with the ftlib by knobloch electronic.
This library should work on any systems supported
by libusb, like Linux, BSD, and Mac OS X. A basic
Python module is available.

lfsb is a Linux utility to change the base clock
(FSB/Front Side Bus) frequency without having to
restart the machine.

The Clock randomness gathering daemon gathers
system randomness from fluctuations between
different physical high-frequency clocks in a
system. The randomness is tested with FIPS, and
if this is successful, fed into the system
entropy pool. It is especially useful for systems
without real hardware random number generators.
