OFED is a transport-independent software stack for
high-performance computing and enterprise data
centers.

UDI, the Uniform Driver Interface, is a well-documented interface between a driver module and the executing OS. It provides source portability across OSes and binary portability within a processor ABI. It also provides modern driver features like instance independence, high scalability, and physical location transparency. The Reference Source provides an initial implementation of UDI for Linux, SCO UnixWare, SCO OpenServer, and other OSes.

DCC Signaler is a SRCP-compliant server that allows
users to control a digital model railroad. It supports the
NMRA format as well as Maerklin/Motorola format.

LED Ticker is a tool for programming LED ticker
bars using an RS232 serial connection. The
software was created for the Lunartec LED
Lauflichtleiste 7x50 sold by the PEARL Agency in
Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and France.

biosdevname in its simplest form takes a kernel
device name as an argument, and returns the
BIOS-given name it "should" be. This is necessary
on systems where the BIOS name for a given device
(e.g. the label on the chassis is "Gb1") doesn't
map directly and obviously to the kernel name
(e.g. eth0).

The MyHD/TL880 Linux Driver is an attempt to create a fully functional
Linux driver for HDTV tuner cards based on the TL880 chip. It includes
the Linux driver as well as research tools for both Linux and Windows to
allow driver development.

k8temp is a BSD utility to read the on-die
temperature sensors provided by AMD K8 processors, including most Athlon 64s and Opterons.

The lt_hotswap kernel module enables hot-swapping
for disk drives with full DMA support under Linux.
It requires kernel 2.6.15+ and ACPI.

DeTeWe ISDN device driver provides a Linux driver and userspace tools to
support configuration and Internet access with DeTeWe (USB-VID:0x086c)
ISDN hardware, such as soho-PBXs (Eumex x04/OpenCom/BeeTel/TA33 USB),
phones (EuroMaster data), and DECT phones (Sinus 6x, BeeTel [34]40i).

The USB Network Daemon is an application that
makes a USB interface available over the network
as transparently as possible. Because the data
structures that are accepted by the daemon are
similar to the direct USB calls of a well-known
USB driver vendor, the (additional) implementation
of the network interface can be done easily.
Because of that, applications can be adapted for
both local direct and remote network USB accesses
easily.

Nightwing allows the creation of quickly deployed
wireless networks without the need to make
complicated configurations. With the
implementation of a Mesh technology called
B.A.T.M.A.N, Nightwing allows the extension of
wireless networks with a simple way of adding
devices that works with minimal human
intervention. It has public and private connection
interfaces, and the ability to filter content
using OpenDNS. It is designed with security in
mind, and has low hardware requirements.

nMicrocoder is an ncurses EDA tool to write
microcode. Basically, it is a stripped down
spreadsheet program that lets you fill a table
with "0", "1", and "-", and gives you
compile-ready verilog code in return. It was
written as an alternative to full spreadsheet
programs. It is known to run on Linux, IRIX, and
Solaris, unless ncurses 5.3 is installed.

Fritz!WRT is a set of patches to make the OpenWRT
trunk run on AVMs Fritz!Box. Much progress has
been made in recent OpenWRT revisions in the AR7
port, but it's still not running on the Fritz!Box.
The patches also have the potential to make the
T-Com SpeedPort run, because its hardware is very
similar to that of the Fritz!Box. There are
patches for the bootloader, LED support, and
watchdog support, as well as KGDB support.
