Jobjar is a small but useful utility to manage a list
of jobs to do. Add, search, remove and spit out
random jobs. Give a sense of purpose to your day
by adding it to .profile.

RewriteFilter is a servlet2.3-compatible filter able to be plugged in any existing Web application that makes the application better indexed by search engines. It rewrites all generated pages transparently, encoding the URLs. When the filter gets a request, first it analyzes if the request is encoded, then it decodes it and forwards the control to the decoded URL.

Gnake is a Nibbles-like game for the console. It's
simple but customizable: you can change the number
of apples, the size of the board, the time, apple
growth, and other parameters.

PCRCommander is a cross-platform timeshifting player/
recorder for the popular XM PCR product and compatible
satellite radio devices. It records your favorite songs or
shows, and labels, names and tags saved tracks
appropriately. It also has the ability to "quick search" all the
available channels for an artist or song, stores favorites for
easy access, supports scheduled recording events, features
the helpful and entirely configurable Related Searches
sidebar, and has several codecs available for recording
content in your choice of format.

Tjukebox is a console based client/server music
jukebox. It is ideal for any setting where you
would like multiple people to be able to control
the music that is playing, such as a LAN party or
an Internet cafe.

Scrabbleizer is a graphical program used to keep track of Scrabble
opponents and the games played against them. Useful and interesting
statistics can be generated for individual players or all players with
the press of a button.

Mailsleuth is an email content management system. It is intended that
one day it may match the features of commercial products such as
MimeSweeper from Baltimore. It is designed for large companies or
Service Providers.

unServices is an IRC services package based on services-faith. It has a
MySQL backend and many other interesting new features such as VoteServ,
PlayServ, ConServ, and many additions to the functionality of ChanServ,
NickServ, MemoServ, and OperServ.

py-xexpr is a tool to parse XML into an Xexpr and
back.

AudiOrg is a command line tool to sort a
collection of audio (or possibly other media)
files into a directory structure according to
their tag metadata information. It currently
supports MP3, AAC, and OGG files and reads ID3 and
OGG tags.

TimeTracker puts up a list of projects, and the number of minutes worked on each. You click on the project you want to work on, and it starts counting on that. At the end of the day, it saves the collected data in a file, and you can use a script to process the data. The project has been idle for quite a while, and has spawned a host of imitations, including implementations of the same basic idea for Windows, PalmPilot, KDE, and various other contexts.

visualTclCheck is a tool for providing a user friendly interface for the command line TclPro checker tool from Scriptics/Ajuba. It was first aimed at Windows because using command line tools on this OS is a pain, but since it's written in Tk, it can be used on every system supporting the required version of Tcl/Tk and TclPro.

Console Zoom is a program to magnify the console
letters (both local or via telnet), to allow
people with subnormal vision to use console Linux.

daf-ftpd (Dumb As Fudge) is a simple FTP daemon that runs on a basic Perl 5 installation without special modules (currently only PERL 5.6). It requires no effort to install, configure, and run, fits in a single file, and runs in a single process (using multiplexing I/O).

Xaq is a web application environment for Perl. It
includes a collection of applications that use that
environment: a form data emailer and a
bookmarking system. Xaq applications are entirely
configured through a clean, simple Web interface.
Xaq will be of particular interest to Web host
providers because it is specifically designed to
serve multiple independent accounts from a single
installation.
