SjASMPlus is a modern command-line cross-compiler
of 8-bit processor Z80 (and R800) assembly
language. It supports many directives (even
ZX-Spectrum specific directives such as snapshot
.SNA generation). It has a built-in Lua scripting
engine and a three-pass design.

HeavenOS is an original, alternative 32-bit
operating system for Intel 80386 compatible
processors. It is made with NASM (The Netwide
Assembler), and is not intended to compare to
modern operating systems, but to try to get the
best features and discover better ways to do
things. It is intended to be a simple and pratical
platform for development, running with a small
amount of code.

LamaProg is a programer for the MCU51 family of
chips (such as the 8051) and I2C EEPROMs (i.e.
such as the 24c01). The programmer accepts input
file in the Intel Hex file format and communicates
with the PC via RS232.

The aim of the Open Automaton Project is to develop
software, circuit schematics, and documentation, from
which it's possible to build an intelligent PC-based mobile
robot, suitable for home or office environments.

rtldi is an ELF program interpreter that makes it possible for
executables to use their own ld-linux.so.2 and libc.so.6 and
associated shared libraries, independent of the default versions
installed in /lib and any other executable. It facilitates the
simultaneous interoperation of programs that were originally
linked using different generations of glibc6. In theory it should
not be necessary, but in practice glibc6 has not always been
backward compatible.

The Gemini Nucleus is a production-quality
microkernel based on the latest findings in
operating system research.

Alpaca is a multitasking operating system for Z-80 based arcade hardware. It has been designed to run on both Pac-Man and Pengo based arcade machines, but can easily be ported to other machines with similar architectures. It supports four concurrently running processes, task switching, simple inter-process messaging, semaphores, and a basic window-based graphical interface.

Multi-Dimensional Clustering (MDC) Table Size
Estimator for DB2 is an application that can be
used to optimally estimate space requirements
based on table statistics and MDC parameters. It
has the ability to use one or more clustering
dimensions, which speeds up the query process and
frees users from the burdens of converting a table
to MDC on AIX and Windows.

The goal of ChallengeOS is to provide an operating
system with a native GUI, an interpreter for an
object-oriented BASIC dialect, and many more
features to make life easier for normal users.

Rational PIC Assembler is an assembler for
the mid-range microcontrollers from Microchip.
It features Intel-style mnemonics and target-
first operand ordering, and was designed to
feel comfortable for PC assembly
programmers.

pmbw is a set of assembler routines to measure the parallel memory (cache and RAM) bandwidth of modern multi-core machines. Memory bandwidth is one of the key performance factors of any computer system. Today, measuring the memory performance often gives a more realistic view of the overall speed of a machine than pure arithmetic or floating-point benchmarks. pmbw contains a set of very basic functions which are all hand-coded in assembler to avoid any compiler optimizations. These basic functions are modeled after the basic inner loops found in any data processing, sequential scanning and pure random access. Any application will have a memory access pattern which is somewhere between these two extremes. The current version of pmbw supports benchmarking 16-, 32-, 64-, 128-, or 256-bit memory transfers on x86_32-bit, x86_64-bit, and ARMv6 systems.

The Ophis assembler is a full-featured cross-assembler for the 6502 family of microprocessors, which is used in the Atari 2600, Commodore 64, Apple II, and Nintendo Entertainment System.

crasm is a portable assembler for 6800, 6801, 6803,
6502, 65C02, and Z80 processors. It was initially
written in 1987 for AmigaOS.
