Kumera is a Perl and XML-based content management system for Web sites. It is designed for small to medium size Web sites that need multiple users writing and editing pages.

CGI::WeT allows code written with CGI.pm to be
themed (page layout is detached from page
content creation).

IMAP::Admin is a Perl module for IMAP server
administration. It lets you do things like
create/delete email, manage acls, manage quotas,
etc. It supports cram-md5 and plain authentication
methods. It also has support for ssl.

Yabasic implements the most common and simple elements of the basic language. It comes with goto/gosub, with various loops, with user defined subroutines and libraries. Yabasic does monochrome line graphics and printing. Yabasic runs under Unix and Windows, it is small (around 200KB) and free.

MIDI::Music is a high-level interface to
/dev/music, and is designed to function on any
*NIX system supported by Open Sound System v.3.8
or higher. Playback through internal and
external MIDI devices is supported, as is the
"recording" of events from an external device.

KFli4L is a control panel for the Linux floppy
ISDN router, fli4l. It allows for viewing the status
and controlling the operation of the router
through a window with several tabs. It also
docks into the system tray, and provides a
traffic monitor to visualize the actual net load.

bindiff determines the differences between two
binary files and displays the information in a
manner similar to hexdump.

The GDA Perl Module Library is a set of Perl bindings for the GNOME-DB project's GNU Data Access library (libgda).

The Image::Size module for Perl provides a clean interface for fetching image dimensions (and type, when unknown) from graphics files in a wide variety of common formats. It is a pure Perl extension (no C or XS linking required) that has been tested on a variety of UNIX, Linux and BSD systems, as well as MacPerl and Windows ports of Perl. It was designed around and tuned for use in CGI application development, but is useful in other areas as well.

Perl/Tk Ispell allows users with the X Window System to spell
check text documents using GNU ispell and its dictionaries. It
suggests corrections, allows editing of unknown words, and
maintains word additions in users' personal dictionaries.

dbvi is a UNIX terminal-based interface to the gdb debugger. It tightly integrates a vi session with the usual gdb command line and uses the arrow keys to provide an intuitive interface to common debugging commands. It is designed to be used in a restrictive single terminal environment, but in a windowed environment it has the same advantages over a graphical interface that vi has over a graphical text editor.

|ped| is a console-based, portable text editor written in Perl. It features automatic resizing when the terminal window is resized, DOS/Unix line ending support, a search function, and correctly functioning backspace and del keys.

HTML::EP::Explorer is an interface in the style of the Windows Explorer that allows your users to select files located on your Unix server and execute actions on them. In particular you may select them for printing. The system includes a security systems that allows you to restrict access to certain areas.

Version 2.2 of the Linux kernel has a capability system, so processes can have eg. CAP_MODULE, which allows insertion and removal of modules, without having to possess full root privelege. As designed, this capability system is currently unusable due to a lack of capability support in the vfs layer. However, with the aid of a kernel patch (included), it can be perverted to allow administrators to give user programs certain capabilities via. sudo. This is what whichcap aims to allow you to do.

Cyrus2Dovecot is a full-featured command line tool for converting the email messages of one or more users from the Cyrus format to Dovecot Maildir++ folders. It allows you to perform a server transition which is fully transparent to both POP and IMAP users, as virtually all available metadata is preserved during the conversion. This includes message UIDs, INTERNALDATEs, IMAP folder subscriptions, the UIDVALIDITY and UIDNEXT values for each folder, as well as all IMAP flags (including the first 26 user-defined keywords).
