psmon is a Perl script which can be run as a
stand-alone program or a fully functional
background daemon, capable of logging to syslog
with customisable email notification facilities.
The user defines a set of rules in an Apache-style
plain text configuration file. These rules
describe what processes should always be running
on the system, and any limitations on concurrent
instances, TTL, and maximum CPU/memory usage of
processes. psmon scans the UNIX process table and,
using the set of rules defined in the
configuration file, will respawn any dead
processes, and slay or "deal with" any aggressive
or illegal processes.

The DansGuardian Anti-Virus Scanner gives you the ability to virus-scan all content that passes through DansGuardian. It uses the scanning code from the MailScanner project to do the actual virus scanning, so it supports all the virus engines that the MailScanner project supports. The scanning is done as the file is being downloaded, so your current network apps don't have to be modified, etc. They just have to support using a proxy.

IPFC is software and a framework to monitor multiple types of agents in a heterogeneous distributed environment. Agents can implement logging of elements as diverse as packet filters (like netfilter, pf, ipfw, IP Filter, checkpoint FW1, etc.), NIDS (Snort, arpwatch, etc.), Web servers, and other general devices (from syslog-servers to embedded devices). It features log collection for different security "agents", dynamic log correlation possibilities, and easy extensibility due to the generic database and XML message formats used.

RRDutil is a a tool to collect statistics (typically every 5
minutes) from multiple servers, store the values in RRD
databases (using RRDtool), and plot out pretty graphs to a
Web server on demand. The graph types shown include CPU,
memory, disk (space and I/O), Apache, MySQL queries and
query types, email, Web hits, and more.

SchemaView Plus is a GUI for creating, retrieving, drawing, and print­ing database schema. It uses Perl, Tk, DBI, and XML packages. Schema can be retrieved using DBIx::SystemCatalog, and it uses XML for storing and retrieving data in text files. You can write any filters to modify these XML files to add new functionality based on your projects (e.g. dropping off some relationships).

safe-rm is intended to prevent the accidental deletion of important files by replacing /bin/rm with a wrapper that checks the given arguments against a configurable blacklist of files and directories that should never be removed. Users who attempt to delete one of these protected files or directories will not be able to do so and will be shown a warning message instead. Protected paths can be set both at the site and user levels.

MySQL-Formmaker is a tool for creating easy administration forms and output of data. You define your forms, types of input, order, and so on, and the system makes a database for you, along with the admin and output files. You can change the layout of the output files. MySQL field-types supported are INT, VARCHAR, TEXT, DATE, and DATETIME. Input fields supported are NONE, TEXT, TEXTAREA, RADIO, CHECKBOX, SELECT, and FILE-UPLOAD.

QDepo (formerly TPDA - Query Repository Tool) is a desktop application for retrieving and exporting data from relational database systems to spreadsheet files. The graphical user interface is based on wxPerl or PerlTk. The main feature of the application is the SQL query repository management. The repository consists from a collection of XML files that ca easily be moved or copied to other computers. The supported formats are Excel (.xls), ODF, and CSV. Database management system support includes CUBRID, Firebird, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite.

REOBack Backup Solution (pronounced "Ray-o-back") is a simple backup solution designed for Linux users and system administrators. It is designed to be simple to set up, and easy to use. It is great as a quick solution for those who procrastinate about backups. It supports automatic full/incremental backups of files you define, remote backups via SCP, SMB, NFS, or FTP, as well as auto deletion of old backups.

With Snort2Pf, you can turn your local Snort
installation easily into an "intrusion detection
and prevention system", rather than simply using
it for post-mortem analysis. Such a system also
blocks the recognized violations.

The Offline HTMLHelp.com Validator is an offline version of the WDG HTML Validator. It checks the syntax of HTML and XHTML documents using an SGML/XML parser.

PostScript::CDCover generates a Postscript program that prints a CD cover and backlabel, with contents displayed as a tree of directories and files. The module ships with a stand-alone, ready-to-use script, pscdcover, that takes the directory tree of a CD-ROM as input and generates a cover from it.
The output can be directly fed to a PostScript
printer, but it is designed to be easily editable
(should one wish to remove unwanted directory
entries, for example).

Autobuild is a package that processes output from building
software, primarily focused on packages using Autoconf and
Automake, and generates HTML summaries. The output
includes project name, version, build host types, build host
name, and indication of success or failure. The output is
indexed in many ways to simplify browsing.
