smtp-vilter is a high-performance content filter for sendmail, which detects email viruses and spam. It can pass, discard, or simply mark an email based on the results of a content scan. It relies on third-party products for the actual content scan. It uses the milter API to communicate with sendmail, and backends to communicate with the actual scanning engines. The backends can be chained to perform a series of checks on each message in one run.

libsigrokdecode is a shared C library that provides (streaming) protocol decoding functionality. The protocol decoders are written in Python (>= 3.2).

LeoCAD is a CAD application that uses plastic building bricks similar to those found in many toys. This is the Linux port of the original MS Windows version; it uses OpenGL for the graphics and allows the creation of very large/complex models with a library of over 1500 different parts.

The Open Virtual Machine Tools (open-vm-tools) are
an open source implementation of VMware Tools.
They are a set of guest operating system
virtualization components that enhance the
performance and user experience of virtual
machines. The tools are currently composed of
kernel modules for Linux and user-space programs
for all VMware supported Unix-like guest operating
systems. They provide several useful functions
like file transfer between a host and guest,
improved memory management and network performance
under virtualization, and general mechanisms and
protocols for communication between host and
guests and from guest to guest.

Logfmon monitors a set of log files and processes
messages based on a set of regexps. When a message
matches, a command may be executed or the message
may be ignored. Messages that are unmatched are
batched together and emailed every so often.

DGen/SDL is an emulator for Sega Genesis/Mega Drive systems. The latest version supports save states, interlace mode, Game Genie, Linux joystick support, compressed ROM images, and other nice features.

MBSE BBS is a full Fidonet-capable ANSI BBS package including a mailer (ifcico clone), tosser, ticfile processor, filefind, and other utilities. The internal mail format is JAM (c) messagebase, and there is full tic file support, including extended tic files.

User manager for PureFTPd allows administrators to easily create, change, or delete 'virtual' PureFTPd users. It comes with a set of very good documentation to help with the setup of PureFTPd, MySQL, and this application.

ATAidle is a utility to set the power management
features of ATA hard drives in FreeBSD and Linux,
including the standby timeout, power (APM), and
acoustic (AAM) level settings. It can also show details
about the installed devices.

netmapr is a simple SDL-based network diagram
program that aims to be quick and easy to use
without a huge list of library requirements. It
supports NetViz-style "drilldown" into nested
diagrams.

mod_backhand is a load balancing module for Apache. It provides per-request HTTP redirection within a heterogeneous Apache server cluster. Each request is processed and run through a set of "candidacy functions" to determine which server is best suited to respond. The request is then proxied to that server. Facilities are in place to allow you to write your own dynamically loadable decision making algorithms. Everything about the request and the current availability of resources can be used in the decision-making process.

wzdftpd is designed to be a small, efficient, and highly modular/configurable FTP server for various platforms including Linux and Windows. The server is RFC compliant, multi-threaded and can be configured entirely online using SITE commands. You can write your own extensions to the server in your choice of language, extending on existing MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Tcl, Perl, PAM, and SFV plugins.
