KOrganizer is the KDE PIM/Calendar/Scheduling tool. It is different from other programs for Unix/Linux like ical or plan because it supports vCalendar, a flexible, open Internet standard for exchanging calendar information (for instance, Lotus and Microsoft both support it in their products). For this reason, you can move to KOrganizer without losing your existing data.

PieDock is a task bar in the shape of a pie menu
that appears directly around your mouse cursor. It
feels a little bit like the Mac OS X dock but in a
circular shape.

KPowersave provides battery monitoring, CPU frequency control and suspend/standby triggers, and more power management features for KDE. It uses HAL (formerly the powersave daemon) and supports APM and ACPI for several architectures.

audiokonverter is a small utility to easily
convert from OGG, MP3, AAC, M4A, FLAC, WMA,
RealAudio, Musepack, Wavpack, WAV, and movies to
MP3, OGG, M4A, WAV, and FLAC in Konqueror by
right-clicking on them. It needs oggenc, oggdec,
faac, faad, flac, mplayer, wvunpack, and lame to
work. id3lib, metaflac, and vorbis-tools are
optional, but needed for full functionality.

GADMIN-OpenVPN-Server is an easy to use GTK+
interface for the OpenVPN server in bridge mode.
It allows generation of five signed certificates
and keys, including HMAC-Firewall and user
authentications. Bridge mode enables SAMBA
browsing and printing across physically separated
networks and or full-blown road warrior client
capabilities.

KBiff is a KDE "biff" or new mail notification utility. It is highly configurable but very easy to use and setup. It supports session managment (it "remembers" the last state it was in before you logged off) and can be docked into the panel. It has support for mbox (Unix-style), maildir (qmail-style), mh, POP3, IMAP4, and NNTP mailboxes.

Liquid Weather ++ is a superkaramba theme and
desktop applet for displaying weather information
and forecasts. You need superkaramba and the KDE
desktop. It displays weather information in a
compact and easy to read format.

KMail is a fully-featured email client that fits nicely into KDE. It has features such as support for powerful filters, PGP/GnuPG privacy, inline attachments, drag and drop support of messages and attachments, support for multiple POP3 and IMAP accounts, and integration into the Kontact personal information management suite.

The Open Palmtop Integrated Environment aims at
making a universal graphical framework for most
(embedded) distributions available and providing a
basic platform even for professional applications. As
reference platforms, HP's iPAQ and Sharp's Zaurus
PDAs are directly supported.

OneFinger is a general-purpose GUI for composing
CLI commands with the mouse. Although entirely
graphical, it does not attempt to hide the underlying
CLI language. It increases your productivity over
classical hand-typing by caching commands typed into
terminals, which tend to be highly repetitive.
Repeated commands can be selected from a list,
ordered by last usage time. It includes an integrated
file browser that helps you insert filenames without
typing them. and allows you to see only those
programs that make sense with a given file.

Kst is a fast real-time large-dataset viewing and plotting tool with built-in data analysis functionality. It contains many powerful built-in features and is expandable with plugins and extensions. It features powerful keyboard and mouse plot manipulation, a large selection of built-in plotting and data manipulation functions (such as histograms, equations, and power spectra), built-in filtering and curve fitting capabilities, a convenient command-line interface, a powerful graphical user interface with non-modal dialogs for an optimized workflow, support for several popular data formats, extended annotation objects similar to vector graphics applications, and high-quality export to bitmap or vector formats,

Yakuake is a drop-down terminal emulator based
on KDE Konsole. It features smoothly rolling down
from the top of your screen, a tabbed interface,
configurable dimensions and animation speed, a
skinnable GUI, and a sophisticated D-Bus interface.

Kivio is a flowcharting software similar to the workings of a very well-known other OS product. It offers basic shapes, and in the future, scripted objects for total control over a document.
