El Cid is a caller ID program for Linux. It just sits on your modem waiting for something to happen, parses the input, and displays the caller ID information. All records are logged to a file in csv format so you can easily parse it for logging into a database, viewing on the Web via CGI, etc.

Divmod Sine is a standards-based voice-over-IP
application server, built as an offering for the
Mantissa application server platform. It owes much
of its development to the Shtoom project, which
implements a soft-phone in Python. Sine provides a
SIP registrar, SIP proxy, third party call
control, voicemail, and configuration through the
Web based on Divmod Mantissa.

VoxForge collects transcribed user-submitted
speech audio files (collectively called a "speech
corpus") to create acoustic models for use with
speech recognition engines such as HTK, Julius,
ISIP, and Sphinx. The current focus is on
collecting audio to create acoustic models for
command and control applications on a PC, and for
voice over IP telephony speech recognition
applications, i.e. IVR (Interactive Voice
Response).

fonmon is a remote phone monitor for isdn4linux.
It includes a server application for your
ISDN-enabled computer (e.g. an ISDN gateway) and a
client for your workstations (Linux and even
Windows). You can easily monitor all incoming
calls through your network with various clients,
with features like highlighting, logging, and
number/name exchange. The server won't run on a
machine without an ISDN card in it.

DD-SMS-Lib is a cross platform C++ library for SMS
encoding and decoding, to allow SMS messages to be
read or sent from a mobile handset or GSM module
easily.

Softmodem answering machine is a program that can
make a softmodem (winmodem) behave as an answering
machine. It requires drivers and a library from
the Asterisk PBX.

Gnokii-smstools provides a way to spool short messages (SMS) using a Nokia cellphone. It takes advantage of both the Nokia phone driver from gnokii and the queueing code from SMS-Tools.

SmsDumper is a Java client for the Clickatell service to
send SMSes to GSM mobile phones from the Internet.

YateAdmin is a Web interface which helps set up
the telephony engine
Yate.

The Asterisk on IpCop project maintains an Asterisk package as an IPCop add-on and an IPCop ISO already containing Asterisk.

OrderlyCalls is a Java integration component for
the popular Asterisk PBX. OrderlyCalls contains
support for the Manager protocol as well as
FastAGI. OrderlyCalls uses a Named Service
approach to providing telephony services to your
Java applications, and is configured with a
user-extensible XML file. OrderlyCalls also offers
native support for running inside J2EE Servlet
Containers such as Tomcat, so you can easily add
telephony functions to your Web applications.

Asterisk Presence Panel is a simple application that allows the user to monitor the status of extensions on multiple Asterisk based PBX systems. The application connects to the Asterisk server using the manager interface. When it starts, it uses a manager command to probe the status of the extension, after which it relies on the extension status messages in the manager session to update its status. The application features contact groups, the ability to click to dial a contact, computer driven dialling for any number, the ability to connect to multiple Asterisk servers, and integration with the system tray on supported platforms.

Asteriko is a Web-based front-end to access
Asterisk PBX. It allows a user to access the
user's own account, and provides access to logs
and auditing, administration, configuration, and
maintenance.

SafiWorkshop allows you to design, test, debug, and deploy advanced process flow applications (like IVRs) from a single, unified development environment. For database work, it includes a fully featured SQL query editor. SafiWorkshop also includes some Asterisk PBX specific features like an audio prompt editor.
