GQ is a GTK-based LDAP client that enables you to search and browse any LDAP V2- or V3-compliant server such as OpenLDAP, Novell, and Netscape. You can also add, edit, and delete entries.

remote_update.pl is a script that utilizes Expect,
PERL, and SSH, to perform automated remote
administration on a large number of hosts. You
define what scripts to run and files to copy for the
remote machines, and the script will connect to
each machine via SSH to perform the administrative
task without interaction. The only thing required to
be running on the remote machines is SSH.

Ops Control Panel is a frontend for MRTG. Unlike many other frontends,
it does not have any requirements beyond those of MRTG, although it
can support PHP-enabled Web servers instead of just running as a Perl
CGI script. It provides overviews of MRTG-based monitoring pages in a
variety of formats.

grabinfo navigates the /proc filesystem and
executes various commands in order to gather
information on the state of your Linux machine.
The data is generated in XML, which is easy to
parse and extend.

OpenThinClient is a thin client solution consisting of a Linux-based operating system along with a comprehensive Java-based management GUI and server component. It is intended for environments where a medium to large number of thin clients must be supported and managed efficiently.

The fdutils package contains utilities for configuring and debugging the Linux floppy driver, for formatting extra capacity disks (up to 1992K on a high density disk), and for sending raw commands to the floppy controller.

which reports and summarizes data about user
connect times and process execution statistics
under Unix.

SMRadius is a high performance pre-forked RADIUS AAA server. It features a highly configurable backend engine supporting flexible data specifications. Its primary goal is to provide an extremely flexible authentication platform which may serve a large number of industries, including ISPs and WiSPs.

The purpose of disktype is to detect the content
format of a disk or disk image. It knows about
common file systems, partition tables, and boot codes.

bcnu is a Web-based system management tool which delivers information on the status of networked systems in a simple and easy-to-use manner. It uses a web browser to display information about hosts in a tabular form. Historical information can be held indefinitely, and there is a powerful query tool available to interrogate it. Client systems can run an agent which logs information back to a central system. An agent scheduler is integrated to allow agents to be run at different intervals. Standard agents include ftp, http, disk space, logfiles, processes, and more.

LooperNG is an intelligent event routing daemon.
Primarily used for Network Management, this
application can be used to accomplish a variety of
tasks related to logging and alerting such as trap
forwarding/exploding, event enrichment, converting
event formats (syslog->SNMP, SNMP->flatfile,
syslog->Netcool), etc. It uses a system of input
and output modules to interface with the event
sources/sinks and a "rules file" to control the
flow of the events.

OpenWBEM is a C++ implementation of a CIM Object
Manager (CIMOM) and WBEM client APIs. It is
implemented in accordance with the CIM and WBEM
specifications published by the Distributed
Management Task Force (DMTF). It currently runs on
Linux, Solaris, Mac OS X, HP-UX, and AIX.

AccTail shows extended resource usage
information for all processes that have exited,
unlike top or ps which only detail currently
executing processes. It can be useful in
combination with wtmptail or MultiTail.

This patch integrates SecurID authentication services directly into the OpenSSH daemon, allowing users to use SecurID tokens directly as their passwords instead of relying on the clunky sdshell. It rides on the plain password auth architecture in OpenSSH to avoid requiring ChallengeResponse or securid-1@ssh.com style auth. It supports full privilege separation.

x509watch is a simple command line application that can be used to list soon expiring or already expired X.509 certificates, such as SSL certificates. All certificates are searched by default in the standard PKI directory, but any other directory can be specified as a parameter. Only Base64 encoded DER and PEM X.509 certificates are supported.
