check_nagios_latency is a Nagios plugin to check
the check latency of the Nagios server.

Shuriken is an XML-based tool for Linux system administrators to set up spans of time when the system should be up. Using the RTC daily alarm (requires BIOS, hardware, Linux support), the system will automatically power-on (if it is off) for these intervals. Automatic power-off is supported, but this feature is not recommended if users intend to log in to the system and not have it shut down on them.

UsbCryptFormat is a graphical user interface (GUI) for the encryption of USB flash drives or external hard drives. It allows the user to reformat a USB flash drive, an SD card, or an external hard drive with an encrypted filesystem very easily and without the danger of destroying data on an internal hard drive because of incautious handling of device names. So it is usable even for a layperson.

Graudit is a simple script and signature sets that allows you to find potential security flaws in source code using the GNU utility, grep. It's comparable to other static analysis applications like RATS, SWAAT, and flaw-finder while keeping the technical requirements to a minimum and being very flexible.

The Heirloom Bourne Shell is a portable variant of
the traditional Unix shell. It is especially
suitable for testing the portability of shell
scripts and for processing legacy scripts. The
Bourne shell does not provide as many features as
newer Unix shells, but it does provide a stable
shell language. With this in mind, it is also
suitable for general script processing and
interactive use. This variant of the Bourne shell
has been derived from OpenSolaris code and thus
provides the SVR4/SVID3 level of the shell.

WANsim allows you to simulate (more accurately,
emulate) a WAN connection. In particular, it
allows a user to change the emulated WAN speed,
latency, variation, packet loss, packet
duplication, and packet corruption aspects. It is
configured as a network bridge that is established
at boot time and uses the Linux Kernel NETEM
functionality to accomplish its goals. Although
relatively well documented, this functionality is
not the easiest to use. WANsim wraps it into a
simple to use script.

A.M.I.C.U.S. (Automatic Multimedia Installation
Configuration Utility System) helps users quickly
and easily install and configure MythTV on
generic PC hardware. It uses the Debian
Netinst CD to install GNU/Linux and just the required packages to allow a functional MythTV on low end hardware.

L2J is an alternate game server for Lineage2. The
L2 protocol is reimplemented in the server, so you
can play with this server without any modifications to the client (except changing the server IP address). The latest USA live client version is always supported, so don't expect this server to work with the PTS/Korean client.

Bartlby is a network and system monitor,
completely written in C, to provide a scalable
framework with the ability to monitor networks of
various sizes. It consists of a core daemon,
several plugins, and a Web GUI (PHP extension).
The core daemon checks (over active/passive TCP)
services/hosts and notifies users in case of
critical service conditions (mail, SMS, ICQ, and
custom triggers are supported). Bartlby provides
an open plugin interface to give every
administrator an easy to use option to extend the
plugin base, and a fully customizable GUI (written
in PHP using a C extension). Nearby everything
can be controlled via an XML interface.

SparForte is a scripting language for large projects requiring reliable, scalable code, reduced maintenance time, and strong bug elimination requirements. It is targeted for programmers interested in quickly writing reliable software, educators wanting to teach disciplined programming skills, and advocates of the Ada/Spark programming languages.

LBackup is a simple backup system aimed at systems administrators who require reliable backups with minimum fuss. It is configured with configuration files, and the backup is started from the command line. It has been tested for over 10 years. Backups can be to local media, or to remote media via one or more networks. The networks may be private LANs, WANs, or sets of untrusted public networks such as the Internet.

enc is a simple EncFS CLI manager written in bash.

It gives you control over your encrypted stashes from the commandline.

CGI-Shell provides a shell using CGI, so everyone who has a CGI directory on a Web server can also have a shell on it. It's
comparable to telnet or SSH.

Jebi allows users to record AM or FM radio, TV, or
other audio content to an MP3 stream and to
publish this stream automatically as a podcast
channel via RSS. The result is a Tivo-like
capability for radio. Tuner cards are supported.

NOTE is a small console program that allows you to
manage notes similar to programs like "knotes"
from the command line. It supports different
database backends for storage, and includes a
DBI-based MySQL module and another module that
uses a binary file for storage and a DBM module.
