Richie Rich is an HTML document editor that runs
within a Web browser. Unlike other in-line HTML
editors, this operates straight on the DOM to
avoid incongruities between what is visible in the
front end and the HTML that is created in the back
end. It supports undo, mouse selection, cursor
positioning, and creation of headings, paragraphs,
lists, links, bold, italic, and underline.

Afrikaans Spellchecker is a spellchecker for Afrikaans that was created from the standard Free Afrikaans wordlist. It includes versions for MySpell (for use in OpenOffice and Mozilla on both Windows and Linux), Aspell, and Ispell.

EasyLatex is a preprocessor to make writing LaTeX much
easier. It accepts "ASCII math" and generates equivalent
LaTeX documents.

Mcmphpsimplecms is a simple content managment
system (CMS) that is easy to install and use. It
features a built-in WYSIWYG editor,
search-engine-friendly URLs, and easy linking to
other pages.

psrender calls Ghostscript to convert any
PostScript document into PostScript (containing
whole pages) as high resolution bitmaps. The
output should print on any Language Level 2
PostScript printer, even when the original does not.

Zulu Spellchecker is a spellchecker for the Zulu
language. It includes versions for MySpell (for use in
OpenOffice and Mozilla on both Windows and Linux),
Aspell, and Ispell.

SILGraphite (formerly OpenGraphite) is a project within SIL's Non-Roman Script Initiative and Language Software Development groups to provide extensible cross-platform rendering capabilities for complex non-Roman writing systems. It consists of a rule-based programming language, Graphite Description Language (GDL), that can be used to describe the behavior of a writing system, a compiler for that language, and a rendering engine that can serve as the backend of a text processing application. SILGraphite renders TrueType fonts that have been extended by means of compiling a GDL program. It is currently being integrated into Gecko/Mozilla through the SILA project, a GNU/Linux port is also underway, and there are plans for OpenOffice.org and Abiword integration.

SHENAN is a customizable ncurses-based C/C++ IDE,
with speech support. It uses swap files to keep
track of changes to source files. It features
session recovery, automatic file saving, various
word processing features, and automatic indentation.

OOo4Kids is a simplified version of OpenOffice.org intended for year 7-12 students. Everything is made in collaboration with teachers and students, with the intention of contributing back to Apache OpenOffice.

mioReaderLite is a Japanese capable text reader
with integrated dictionary for the Sharp Zaurus
PDA. It's part of a more ambitious project,
mioSuite. Due to the manual search capabilities,
the program can also be used as a
Japanese/English dictionary.

Setswana Spellchecker is a spellchecker for Setswana that was
created using the Scannell and Otlogetswe wordlist. It includes
versions for MySpell for use in OpenOffice and Mozilla on
both Windows and Linux.

The goal of the StarOffice Converter project is to
produce filters for StarOffice 5.x documents which
convert them into plain text. It is meant to be
similar to catdoc, ppthtml, and xls2csv, which
work for MS Office documents. A search engine can
use these filters to index .sdw files.

Leet-Generator is an application that converts
plaintext to leettext.
