BabyFTPd is a lightweight threaded FTP daemon. It
implements modern FTP standards including
draft-murray-auth-ftp-ssl and
draft-ietf-ftpext-mlst. It is tested with most
noteworthy FTP clients and should work with all
that follow standards.

neteK is a user-friendly personal FTP and WebDAV
server. The program's interface stays in the
system tray without using too much system
resources. Creating a share is as simple as
clicking on a create button, selecting the shared
folder, and clicking OK.

Reft stands for "Ridiculously Easy File Transfer",
and is a file transfer program without hassles.
All that's required is for two parties to load
Reft. One person sends a file, the other person
accepts the file, and that's it.

RSync Manager (RSM) is a set of Python scripts to add and update packages for rsync-based mirror sites, and also create some nice HTML statistics from the logs. It is mainly written for large site management, with extensibility in mind.

WWE is a small perl CGI program written to allow
people who only have FTP access to their Web sites
to edit their pages using a Web browser. Although
it can be used to edit any text file accessible
over FTP, it has features designed to "dumb down"
maintenance of static Web sites, so people who
don't know any HTML can add or edit text without
having to worry about breaking the layout.

MillScript-VFS is a URI-based virtual filing
system for Java. It allows protocol independent
access to files and folders with complete
platform independence. The intention is to support
any protocol and archive supported in Java, with
features such as memory and disk-based caching of
file content and folder listings. The API can also
support artificial filing systems, such as an XML
document viewed as a filing system.

jftpgw is a proxy server for the FTP protocol. It
is highly configurable, allowing you to use an
XML-like configuration file to define almost any
combination of the client's IP, the server's IP,
the user name, the destination port, and so on.
jftpgw supports inetd/daemon mode, transparent
proxying, forwards, caching, logging, data IP and
port specification (port ranges), limiting of the
number of simultaeous sessions, and several proxy
login styles for clients that support FTP proxies.

iFTPd is an FTP server that features platform
independence, system independence, ruggedness, and
a virtual file system. The target audience is
those admins that need to be able to share files
without having to install several other programs
and databases, and without having to configure the
rest of the system.

wget_worker is a Perl script that uses wget to
download from the Web in parallel. It supports URL
filtering to download only URLs that match your
pattern specified by Perl's regular expression.

Twoftpd is an FTP server that strives to be secure, simple, and efficient. None of the commands can cause execution of other programs, and the normal model of execution does a chroot to the logged in user's directory immediately after authentication. The name "twoftpd" comes from the fact that there are two parts to the server: an authenticating front end, which contains no file or data transfer code, and one of two back ends, which contain all the data transfer code.

PureUserAdmin is a Web-based aplication for easily managing
the virtual users for Pure-FTPd servers, although it should be
possible to use it with other FTP servers as long as they get
user account information from MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Weex is designed to automate the task of remotely maintaining a Web
page or other FTP archive. It will synchronize a set of local files
to a remote server by performing uploads and remote deletes as
required. Thanks to a nicely-colored output, you'll be able to track
mistakes before you lose files.

sydep is a tool for simple deployment over rsync. In combination GIT it is very powerful instrument. It provides three actions: init, push, and pull. init creates config files for sydep in the current directory. These are sydep.cfg, which contains connection details, and .sydepignore, which specifies files to ignore. push uploads files from the working directory to the server. pull downloads existing files from the server. It downloads only those files which are already in the working directory.

InfoCrawler allows you to crawl and index various
types of documents, accessing data from various
resources: Intranets, public Web sites, and local
or remote file systems.
