eddiebrowser is a CGI program that provides an
interface to view system statistics graphically
using RRDtool. eddiebrowser is designed to work
with EDDIE Tool and ElvinRRD, although it can be
used standalone or with other software, as long as
they generate RRD files.

Elastic Webeditor is Perl script that alows users to edit their home pages online. Administration is also implemented. It supports plugins like a tar.gz viewer, CheckLinks log processor and others. Its main feature is that you need only one unix style account, but you can have as many webeditor users as you need. Each one can edit/upload files in his folders. There is also some kind of SSI support. It is easy to write your own plugins if you know some Perl. Elastic Webeditor is used by opencores.org.

Symbio is a fully themable commenting system for Web sites and blogs. Its features include polls, multi-language support, smileys, text styling, and statistics.

Atocha is a Python package for parsing and
rendering data from Web forms. It is
framework-agnostic, generic, and it should be
possible to use it with CGI scripts or to
incorporate it in your favourite Web application
framework.

activeMailLib is a PHP class that can validate
email addresses and send MIME email messages using
the PHP mail() function. It can generate text or
HTML email messages with user-defined headers,
body parts, and character encoding. File parts can
also be attached to the messages. The class can
also perform email address validation based on a
regular expression. It can optionally check the
addresses with the destination SMTP server using
the PHP getmxrr() function on Unix-like systems.

The goal of Pot (PHP Object Template) is to
totally divide the logic of a Web site from the
design. Pot can be used by "common" people just by
writing some XML tags in the HTML code. It
supports technologies like Cascading Style Sheets,
JavaScript, animated objects, and form data
checking. Using your favourite WYSIWYG editor
(like Dreamweaver or GoLive), you can create HTML
pages where you place a tag wherever you need and
write the required Pot parameter and value tags.

Perl SecurePages is a session-based authentication script for Perl CGI. It was written to authenticate users on a session basis as a means of securing CGI applications written in Perl.

t7e is a Web site translation management system.
It allows the same site to be maintained in a
large number of languages, alerting translators to
changes in the original site and ensuring material
in all languages is accurate and current.

Sonda is a powerful and simple way to implement
polls on a Website. It outputs a nice themed
graphic table with a precise percentage
calculation. It is easy to customize the way the
program behave with a config file. There can be as
many different and autonomous data and config
files as are needed, and an infinite number of polls
and options to vote on. The program locks the files
it uses to avoid deadlocks and race conditions and
keeps an IP log file of the people who vote. No
database is necessary.

The site tools package has classes to support a standard look and feel through templates
that support somewhat advanced functionality like object method binding, custom
escape/formatting functions, and basic looping and conditionals. It also supports SQL
forms with foreign key handling with drop boxes or lists, and multiple field types like
checkboxes, text boxes, and text areas. Add/delete/edit functionality is handled by the
Form class. Tables can be created in the same way, and support auto-sorting by using
hyperlinked headers, and next/prev handling. Both forms and tables can be bound to
templates to adjust the look and feel or layout, without losing any functionality.

Statweb is a CGI program intended to control X10 devices and lirc from the web. In fact you could put any non-interactive UNIX command in the config file, like tail /var/log/messages. You can configure the colors, font size, and title from the web interface as well.

QUISP (quick server pages) is a simple system for developing
database-driven dynamic Web sites. It includes its own embedded SQL
database which stores data in ASCII text files. It can optionally be
configured with built-in data charting.
