GLmol is a 3D molecular viewer based on WebGL and Javascript. You can embed molecular models in Web pages without using Java or plugins.

Papyrus is a 2D C++ scenegraph (canvas) library that utilizes the cairo library to perform drawing operations. Similar canvas libraries are the Gnome Canvas, Diacanvas, and the QT Canvas. Numerous canvas primitives are available, including arcs, rectangles, polylines, and line markers. An optional companion library, Papyrusmm, provides a set of Gtkmm widgets which includes viewports (a canvas display widget similar to Gtk::DrawingArea) and other UI widgets related to drawing interfaces.

The Paketto Keiretsu is a collection of tools that use new and unusual strategies for manipulating TCP/IP networks. They tap functionality within existing infrastructure and stretch protocols beyond what they were originally intended for. It includes Scanrand, an unusually fast network service and topology discovery system, Minewt, a user space NAT/MAT router, linkcat, which presents a Ethernet link to stdio, Paratrace, which traces network paths without spawning new connections, and Phentropy, which uses OpenQVIS to render arbitrary amounts of entropy from data sources in three dimensional phase space.

FreeMED is a Web-based medical records (EMR) and patient management system with a printing system, patient scheduling, an HL7 interface, a billing system, XML-RPC Web services, and many other features. It has an extensible modular architecture, allowing it to be customized based on individual practices without having to rewrite core components of the system. It is HIPAA compliant.

Qfsm is a graphical editor for easily drawing finite state machines, written in C++ using Qt. Transitions can have either binary or ASCII conditions. Machines can be simulated and integrity checks applied, enabling verification of proper design and operation.

GPX Viewer is a simple program to visualize a GPX file. It uses libchamplain and cairo for the plot. It can show multiple GPX files, show waypoints and multiple tracks per GPX file, highlight a selected track, show a speed vs. time graph, and show distance, duration, average, moving average, max speed, moving time, and GPS points. It supports zooming, smoothing of the speed graph, and highlighting points in a speed graph on a map.

Shapefile C Library is a C library for reading and writing ESRI Shapefiles and their related DBF files. All geometry types are supported, with robust DBF support. Shapelib is widely used for commercial and free projects. Shapelib includes command line utilities for dumping, subsetting, clipping, shifting, scaling, and reprojecting shapefiles.

The OpenGeo Suite is an integrated package of best of breed open source geospatial software providing an easy to install Web-mapping and data sharing solution. It consists of several components. GeoServer is a map and feature server providing standardized Web access to underlying GIS data sources and cartographic quality maps. GeoWebCache is a Web map accelerator, intelligently caching and serving tiles to make maps scale. Styler provides Web styling of maps, built on OpenLayers and GeoExt. GeoExplorer is a pure Javascript map composition application built on OpenLayers and Geoext. Dashboard is a cross-platform desktop application to access all the components. There are samples of Javascript functionality to build custom Web applications.

Mapyrus is software for creating plots of points, lines, polygons, and labels in PostScript, PDF, SVG, and Web image output formats. It combines the following three components: A Logo or turtle graphics language, reading of GIS datasets and RDBMS tables, and running as a stand-alone program, as a Java Servlet, or as a self-contained Web server.

superseriousstats is a small and efficient program for creating a Web page with statistics from various types of IRC logs. It keeps track of its parse history and only processes new activity before storing any accumulated data in a SQLite or MySQL database. It is suitable for high volume IRC channels and large log archives, and is relatively easy to integrate with IRC services (e.g. bots) that interact with the database and provide last seen information and many other statistics directly in your channel.

Lush is a Lisp dialect with extensions for object-oriented and array-oriented programming. It is intended as a programming environment for prototyping numerically intensive applications. Unlike alternatives like Python or SciLab, Lush is designed for easy integration of existing C/C++/Fortran codes.

GOPchop is an MPEG2-PS editor that cuts on GOP boundries so that the resulting MPEG2-PS file does not need to be re-encoded when saving the resulting desired frames. It is useful for editing commercials out of MPEG2 TV capture files.
