Details

The only significant detail of Eliza's behavior that Weizenbaum knowingly omitted from his 1966 paper is "a certain counting mechanism" (p. 41) that determines whether a memory will be recalled.

I am currently using the simplest possible counting mechanism, a binary toggle.

If anyone can provide any knowledge or insight about this issue, I'd appreciate it.
