espeak にかわる本家の音声エンジン開発
nishimoto nishimoto NV Access の speech player がコア部分に使っている Klatt 音声エンジンの Python 対応版：
nishimoto eSpeak の日本語対応が話題になっているようなので情報提供。
NVDA は現在 eSpeak 本家のミラーリポジトリして以下を持っている。

一方で独自の音響信号処理エンジンを実装した nvSpeechPlayer を試作して、アドオンを作ってきた。

その反響を踏まえて、eSpeak の派生版 speechPlayerInEspeak を作り始めている。
これを将来は NVDA の音声エンジンとして eSpeak の代わりにしていきたいらしい。
（背景として現状の eSpeak 本家のリリース体制や品質に問題があると NV Access は認識している）
西本の意見としては、この speechPlayerInEspeak の日本語対応をサポートするのがひとつの選択肢と思う。
以下、本家 nvda-addon ML における Jamie さんの2月25日のメールの内容：
nvSpeechPlayer was originally being developed as a separate speech synthesiser. It did use eSpeak for dictionary data, but it used its own phoneme, length and intonation data and could only speak English.
In order to support more languages and benefit from other stuff in eSpeak (e.g. length data), we developed speechPlayerInEspeak. This uses the voice engine from nvSpeechPlayer, but is integrated into eSpeak. It is this add-on that we want to distribute. Unfortunately, this add-on doesn't have a readme, so I need to discuss this with Mick.
So, in short, the add-on we actually want distributed is called speechPlayerInEspeak. You can download it here:
