Node.js 13.5 Released, ―trace-exit option added

December 18, the development team of Node.s, a JavaScript runtime, released Node.js 13.5, which is the latest version of the Current series.

Node.js is the latest point release of Node.js 13, which first appeared in October.  Node.js offers two stable versions: one of which is the LTS, which provides long term support, and the other is Current, which aggressively introduces new features, and Node.js 13.5 is the latest version of Current.  Version 12.14.0 (Erbium) is the latest LTS, released on December 17.

There are many small feature enhancements added to the release, for example, the –trace-exit option, which traces abnormal exit.  Another notable implementation is the new automatic completion preview, a repl for interactive interpreter module.

For http/https header, the default timeout period of has been changed from 40 to 60 second.  There are also improvements added to headline modules, such as the update of ansi-regex.

There are numerous other small fixes.
