This release adds many new features,
including a powerful styling mechanism which makes it very easy to change the
whole look of a plot with a couple of commands
and makes it simpler to share styles among
several plots.

It also adds more control of legends (including drawing frames around them),
plot axes,
a command for drawing a frame,
and a xcolor.sty-like way to mix colors.

ctioga2 is a complete rewrite of ctioga, avoiding the mistakes made in the original design. It is much more flexible and powerful than the old ctioga. It features most of what the old ctioga could do, but it also supports plots of 3D data (XYZ color maps, for instance) and contour plots. All users of ctioga are encouraged to switch to ctioga2. Development of the old ctioga has stopped.

This version brings much better control over the
look of the legend, including a much simpler
scheme for positioning, frames, background color
and transparency, legend lines unrelated to plots,
and control over the height of the lines. In
addition, the text data-gathering backend was
improved to be able to split text files into
subsets at blank lines (a bit like in gnuplot).
There are many more small feature enhancements and
small bugfixes.
