Project Description

gEcrit is a source code editor oriented toward Python. It tries to keep the interface as clean as possible and keep the menus simple. It features all the common features a Python programmer might need, including an interactive Python interpreter and operating system shell. It supports a plugin system for expandability.

Support for Ruby, Java, C++/C, and Perl was added.
Multiple bugfixes and plugin fixes. The run button can run all the above scripting languages under Linux. The editor went through an internal redesign.

Translations have been added for Romanian and Spanish. Support for regular expression search and replace has been added. The user can mark the lines with a marker now. A bug has been fixed in auto-indentation. The spell checker has been improved.
