Project Description

ispCP Omega is a powerful Web hosting control panel. It should be usable by any Internet service provider (ISP). This Omega release is based on the original VHCS, an open source project, but is greatly enhanced in terms of security and usability.

This release addresses issues with FCGID 2.2 compatibility, jQuery as JavaScript framework, new exceptions/errors handling libraries, PHP 5.3 compatibility, subdomain redirects, support for HTTP(S) ports differing from 80 and 443, and terms of service. Domain alias handling, FreeBSD support, custom DNS records, and setup/update/uninstall processes were enhanced. IDNA support and user handling were improved. The Postgrey port was changed (depending on distribution). HTML-Purifier was removed. Translation handling and the ticket system were rewritten. Security improvements were made.
