A new system is used for adding notes to a document. The parsers for file extensions can be configured dynamically. A full preview can be shown of email document types. A tagcloud can be displayed for languages like Chinese or Arabic. Progressive search can be performed. Preview of PDF files and multimedia files was improved. The tag insertion interface was improved.

New features include a document rating system, the ability to send multiple documents by email as attachments or zip files, full Dutch support, the ability to move documents between folders with drag'n'drop, and RTL support in the Arabic language. Users forgetting their passwords can now email the administrator for help. Improvements were made for extraction of text from PDF forms and metadata extraction from image files. The listing configuration is saved for important tables. Labels can be specified for custom fields on templates. The Jackrabbit dependency was upgraded to 1.6.4. The inability to save when adding multiple tags was fixed.

The listChildren and getRootFolder methods were added in Folder WebService. The isWriteable method was added in Folder WebService. The ability to delete or change an attribute from a Document Template was added. Document listing order was changed in the webservice document.list function. The dependencies were upgraded from GWT and SmartGWT frameworks. Searching problems on Author and CustomID fields were fixed. The inability to perform checkin with a different file-name was fixed. An exception accessing a document with a pending template was fixed. An empty folder when sourceAuthor contains the "&" (ampersand) character was fixed.

The ability to resize the preview window of a document was added. The number of elements (documents and sub-folders) within a folder is now shown. The display of the context menu in a folder was fixed when the folder name contains the "/" character. The ability to delete document links was fixed. Memory usage during PDF parsing was reduced. The download option on the document links panel was fixed. An exception on the server when forcing a task to stop was fixed. Saving of the parameter "Use authentication flag" was fixed.

The last posts on the discussion threads are displayed. PDFBox was upgraded to the latest version, 1.4.0. Support was improved for the Arabic language (indexing & search). Support was improved for the Chinese language (indexing & search). The "Tags" tab in the dashboard was added with 3D TagCloud.
