Project Description

MuGecube is a simple file-based, multi-user guest book and blog. Posts, comments, and user info are stored in CSV files. It supports registration, HTML formatting, viewing posts by user, permalinks, avatars, and searching in post text.

Several new CSS styles, email notifications for new posts, an option to move up posts with the latest comments, and the ability to add custom smile themes were added. Several bugs in Javascript and PHP functions were fixed. Titles in the RSS feed were improved for easily reading. There are more details on the Web site.

GPL licensing information was added. Categories were added for posts. A block with links to each category was added. The "Cut" tag was added to a post's edit page. The user setting "blog mode" was added, which prevents comments from being shown for each post when read. The user setting "shorten posts to N words" was added. bbCode.js was removed in favor of personal formatter scripting. Some data was removed from session and moved to memory (GLOBALS), which means that categories and statistics will not be shown on other pages except for book view and blog view.
