system. It is designed for use by small business,
and uses the double-entry accounting model.

Check debit and credit were fixed. Many fixes were
made fiscal period ID. Xpath fixes were made in
templates and queries. Templates were cleaned up.
Customer accounts and customer address management
for invoicing were improved. Invoices may now be
marked as paid or not paid. Many small bugs and
typographical errors were fixed.

This version includes some significant changes to keep up with the progress made on Nexista, the codebase of which is really starting to stabilize after some serious improvements. Also included is a rewrite of the XSL templates, which will make customizing the look and feel of PBooks much easier.

A lot of work has been done on invoices and account groups, including the ability to generate reports of invoices by month. There are major cleanups in the cash flow report and the journal entry form. The repository was also completely reorganized, and the distribution now is now only one part, making for easier installation.

This version is a significant improvement on prior
versions, including a much more stable process for
dealing with business objects like checks,
invoices, and customers. The installation
instructions have been drastically improved as
well. Instructions were posted in the wiki for
installing on Ubuntu with XAMPP, natively in
Debian, and on Windows using XAMPP.

This release includes several bugfixes, feature improvements, and lots of code cleanups. One of the more significant improvements is the inclusion of the jQuery and tablesorter JavaScript libraries. These were integrated to make the ledger paginate and sort like never before.
