Project Description

Sentinella is a desktop application that monitors your system activity and, when a condition is met, takes the action that you've chosen. While monitoring your CPU, memory, hard drive, and network usage, Sentinella can be programmed to take specific actions when setpoints for utilization or time are met. It can power off, reboot, or hibernate your system, kill an active process, throw an alarm, or execute any command. Sentinella integrates perfectly with the main desktop enviroments (KDE, GNOME, XFCE, and others) and works under many Unix systems.

0.9.0

The window now remembers its visibility between sessions. The code that checks the PIDs has been reworked. The conditions now are QTimers instead of QThreads. Support for libsysactivity versions earlier than 0.6.0 was removed. Now the network combobox is populated just once. Network and Process API classes were added. Now the network interface with more traffic is chosen by default instead of using a name-based logic. The code was cleaned up in MainWindow.cpp. The --execute-command parameter was added. Some compiler attributes were added.
