A new reverse proxy feature was introduced, which
provides a far more robust Web forwarding
facility. This feature is currently touted by a
number of tier-one vendors as a solution for the
provision of intranet access to remote VPN users.
As a welcome byproduct of the reverse proxy
feature, SSL-Explorer now fully supports the
enhanced ActiveX user interface of Microsoft
Outlook Web Access 2003. An extensive series of
bugfixes have been implemented, along with
improved proxy support and a much simplified
Active Directory configuration process.
