Project Description

Talend Open Profiler (TOP) helps you to profile your data. TOP's ergonomic interface allows you to define metrics (indicators) and collect statistics on your data in a few clicks. It comes with a set of regular expressions that helps you to identify bad data. You can create your own regular expressions and use them in data profiling analyses. A lot of options exist for each indicator, which change the behavior of the indicator so that it gives you more pertinent information. Data quality options on indicators alert you when your data quality is not what you expected.

New features include reuse of the Talend Open Studio File Delimited wizard in Talend Open Profiler, Excel profiling (which lets you find tables when using Excel with an ODBC connection), enhancements in Filter data (in column set analysis editor), the ability to save a customized perspective, and the addition of Java in Pattern Test View. New features in the unified platform include the addition of a filter for the MDM connection, reuse of Talend Open Studio metadata wizards, and use of the same repository API with Talend Open Studio to effect persistence of repository objects.

New features include allowing drill down for column set analysis, a "Delete all" function in the recycle bin, and function Column set analysis with the Java engine. A problem in which tables were not found when using Excel with ODBC connection was fixed. A filter for the MDM connection was added. Flat files and excel are supported. File enhancements were made in filter data (in the column set analysis editor). Information about analysis is provided when drilling into results. The possibility to test Java regex was added.
