Building with IBM SDK 3.1 is now supported (SDK 3.0 is no longer supported), as is building with only the GNU CBE toolchain. Reduced switching time when using multiple CBE tasks. Added support for zero-input/zero-output plugins. Added initial support for GPU/CUDA.
Speedups for SIMD operations and FFTs, workarounds for flaky compiler optimizations, a MS Visual Studio solution, improved classic VSIPL support and multiprocessor support, and VSIPL++ API refinements and additions. The code is now 64-bit clean. Cell/B.E. support was added. Documentation and examples were updated. There were numerous bugfixes and code cleanups.
