Project Description

X Resource Graph (XRG) is a system monitor that shows graphs for CPU usage, memory usage, battery status, machine temperature, network usage, disk usage, current weather, and stock market data. It is designed to use as little overhead possible while showing a lot of information about the resource usage in a nice interface.

This release contains many bugfixes and some new
features. The primary new features include
increased support for temperature sensors in the
iMac G5 and fan sensor monitoring on multiple
types of machines. Machines with supported
temperature and/or fan sensors include the
PowerMac G5, iMac G5, Aluminum Powerbook G4, and
iBook G4 computers. Other new features include
compatibility with the latest Tiger builds and
"Update Now" menu options for the Weather and
Stock graphs. Finally, bugs have been fixed in the
Temperature, Weather, and Battery graphs.

This release has many new features and bugfixes. The primary new feature is a new machine temperature graph that will graph the temperature of different locations in your computer. Supported CPUs include PowerMac G5s, Aluminum Powerbook G4s, and iBook G4s. Other new features include the addition of uptime statistics to the CPU graph, the ability to drag XTF theme files to the graph to set graph colors, a redesigned preferences panel with new icons, and the option to hide XRG's dock icon (through a new contextual menu for the graph title bar).

Some of the new features include contextual menus for each of the graph modules, the option to change the graph font, a new highlight border feature to help with window resizing, a graph minimizing feature that will minimize the graph into the title bar and optionally expand the graph whenever the mouse is over the title bar, and the option to set the graph window level to stay in the background.

ability to invert the disk read or write graph, and the ability to
enable/disable the graph window's drop shadow. This version also
