Hi I tried to use the fink aspell with carbon-emacs (latest Tiger version). As suggested I removed carbon-emacs-builtin-aspell.el from site-start and inserted (setq ispell-program-name "/sw/bin/aspell") in my .emacs. Aspell works fine invoked from the shell but does not within carbon-emacs. Instead I get the following message: Starting new Ispell process... ispell-check-version: /sw/bin/aspell exited with signal Segmentation fault Thanks for help. Armin Goralczyk
