Sorry for my late reply.
Though we can not test all of portal server, but our portlets are intended to work with any JSR-168 compatible servers.
We hate portlets depends on modules which is in the specific portal product so that users can trust working in high compatibility.
Please try first with your WebSphere and in case when trouble, we are welcome your report or comments here.
