Hi: I'm using Tomoe via UIM on Zaurus SL-C3200 under Angstrom. It works fine, however I have found that it will not input characters into Emacs. On the desktop PC I have experimented with it and realized that it only inputs into Emacs when Emacs is started with LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8 and uim-tomoe-gtk is started with LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8. On the Zaurus however under Angstrom there is a problem with the ja_JP.UTF-8 locale and it doesn't work for some reason, can't use it. However when I run leafpad for instance, Tomoe inputs characters into it, and doesn't have to run with LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8 What can I do, so that it works with Emacs also without needing this LANG setting?
