I reloaded games to investigate overflows.

Several times i stepped on this error :

serv.reSz01-Ai003-Lm54-20230401-180306.log

1: [T029 - 2023/04/14 01:51:25] in sg_load_sanitycheck() [../../../server/savegame/savegame3.c::7702]: Team 4 had invalid researching technology.

I am on my laptop, i don't have access to previous games currently, i'll check them this weekend , to find when this occurred.

Does the above commit hash refer to version where you loaded the game, version where you saved the game, or was it the same on both cases?

Related: Have you built with '--enable-gitrev' ? I don't remember if the commit hash of the saving freeciv version gets saved to savegame on 3.1 even with that, but it makes the hash visible at least on some places.

gitrev is 75200a454 , but this is broken , see #47967

Can you attach the savegame. Let's at least extract any relevant information from it.
