seems like everything else is working but i have no sound when i run any application and there is no system typing sounds either. what do you suggest?

my machine is a dell inspiron with intel core i7-8550u cpu @ 1.8 ghz, with windows 10 pro, 64 bit operating system.

also, how do i remove the installed software files so that i can remove all traces of android from my windows machine later?

i re-installed the android-x86_64-8.1-r2-k49.iso version and had the same issue with sound until i chose the ignore hardware acceleration and then audio became available across the systems sounds and app sounds.

what do i lose, if anything, by not having hardware acceleration turned on?
