Unzipping http://osdn.jp/frs/redir.php?m=aarnet&f=%2Fcrystaldiskinfo%2F64153%2FCry... and running diskinfo.exe gave the same result. There fore, I think the problem is not the packaging of portableapps.com, but the base package. The eBay link is for an ended listing. I agree that mentioning ebay in the URL doesn't look good, but it is not exactly as it looks on the surface. I used to have the portable apps version of crystalDiskInfo running fine on that machine, with an Hitachi Travelstar IC25N030ATR04-0. It, the Hitachi HD, died. I am not sure which portableapps version of crystalDiskInfo was installed on it.
Hi,
Thank you for your bug report. I will fix compile option to /arch:IA32 on CrystalDiskInfo 7 Dev8.
Please test it latest beta from http://crystalmark.info/?lang=en
Sorry, CrystalDiskInfo 7 Dev8 is not fixed, yet. I will check source code & compile option...
Please wait to fix it.
Hi, I fixed this bug on CrystalDiskInfo 7 Dev9. Please test it latest beta from http://crystalmark.info/?lang=en
Thank you. 6.7.1, which is what I find at the time of writing at portableapps.com, is working. Closing the bug was justified, as far as I am concern. -- Same person who opened the report, and wrote the comment on 2016-01-11 06:01.
Portable CrystalDiskInfo 6.6.1, frpm portableapps.com. It crashes on an home edition XP with Fujitsu MHV2040AT. I have uploaded images of the suggested window to send MS a note to http://imgur.com/a/nktgd/all. I think that by searching the web, one can see that CrystalDiskInfo used to work with this disk. For example, on http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fujitsu-40-gb-IDE-Hard-Drive-/231799454189?nma=true&si=NZweCso%252B9AZbDcLJz35qrXExLDU%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557.
