Project Description

arfg, originally intended to generate Fortran code, is a simple pipelined meta-language. Its power comes from the tools it employs: GNU m4 for macro expansion, a diversion filter for accumulation and re-location of text blocks, and the embedded Perl interpreter eperl.

This release includes the definition of m4 variables (shell-safe quoting), can optionally print a list of output files for xargs, etc., will warn you if .arfg-rewrite is not executable, and can distinguish absolute and relative paths (permissions problems are avoided). The help message has been updated, and --help and --version no longer die().
