Bacula

This release has a new catalog format (a database upgrade is needed when upgrading from 5.0.x). It fixes problems in 'accurate backup' code, MySQL issues, and QT linking issues, and updates some plugins.

This release introduces speed and memory usage enhancements, and implements LZO compression, a new Pruning algorithm, the Bacula Virtual File System for catalog access, and a faster crc32 algorithm.

Starting with this release, a problem creating a Volume Shadowing Snapshot on Windows causes a failure of the entire backup job. Previously, only warnings were printed. The Media page's columns can now be sorted in the "bat" GUI and the Storage Daemon will now automatically update the Volume size in the catalog after it loses communication with the File Daemon. This release also changes the license of the project from GPLv2 to AGPLv3 and fixes multiple crashes and memory allocation bugs.

This release fixes issues with the Storage Director crashing, deadlocks during backup migration, problems with TLS encryption, database locking, and verification jobs.

This release introduces a few major bugfixes and changes the behavior of the 'Truncate On Purge' and 'Volume Poll Interval' directives. It also changes the default to allow duplicate jobs to run and introduces a feature to cancel 'lower level jobs' when a new duplicate jobs starts. In addition to that, it includes fixes for several segmentation faults and for bugs in the 'bat' GUI.
