Project Description

COAST (COA Service Tester) is a Perl script to
send Change of Authority requests to network
devices (typically BRAS devices) and report some
statistics. Change of Authorization is specified
in RFC 5176 (Dynamic Authorization Extensions to
RADIUS).

Support for RFC 5176 has been started (by no means complete) by adding all possible identifiers. The -i option for attributes has been removed. The -v option is used now with default vendor, or vendor 0 specifically. The default vendor is now 0 (means IETF attr). Support for tagged attributes has been added. The CLI specification of the dictionary is enabled.
