Project Description

The Grendel Project is an attempt at creating a solid, fast, and stable MUD server codebase that runs natively on Windows and Linux. Operational features include IPv6 support, a plugin architecture, enhanced scripting, copyover, and numerous other features.

The server can now be run as a service on Windows NT/XP and as a daemon on Linux. The SMAUG area convertor was re-enabled. Generic server and console classes were added, a brand new version of the manual was added, some race conditions and memory leaks were fixed, and numerous other bugfixes were made.
