Project Description

The Java Topology Suite is a Java API of spatial predicates and functions. It conforms to the Simple Features Specification for SQL published by the Open GIS Consortium, and provides a complete, consistent, robust implementation of fundamental 2D spatial algorithms.

The design of topological data structures has been improved. The methods Geometry.isSimple(), Geometry.isValid(), and Geometry.setSRID(), the ability to write to an arbitrary java.io.Writer object to WKTWriter, and Validate and Mark Location functionality for TestBuilder have been added. The functionality of the Envelope class has been improved.
